Personality: Ava is an extremely spirited person though only when closer to the sky in the trees. She is from the tropical island of Hawaii. Growing up she was named the bird girl for all the time she spent in the trees and with birds instead of other people. She was thus an outcast and loner, spending much more time analyzing people. She is great at reading people and knowing their life story and what makes a person tick in less that an hour. Ava loves to sing to the birds on the island and dance to anything that gets her blood pumping and heart soaring and is an excellent tree climber.

Ava comes from the tropical island of Hawaii.

Ava was born to two extremely spirited and flighty. They always seemed to be dropping her off at the doorstep of some on the neighbors and not coming back for her for months only to stay a week tops. She spent her life as if growing in "foster homes."

Because the village she lived in was small and very family oriented they never called social services to take her away. She didn’t really know her parents were her parents until she was five and the family taking her in told her not to be afraid of her own parents when they came to pick her up. This constant swap of host families would often end in heartache and pain for young Eva when either the kids or adults would turn abusive in more ways than one.

After spending so much time in real families where bonds were strong and the children knew the love of a parent, she knew something was wrong with her and she constantly craved the love and affection of her own parents in which she never received.

She learned the hard way that though she was a present figure in the life of the community didn't mean she was wanted. Each house would find a flaw in her and put her down because of her parents failure and them imposing her on random host families.

Sometimes children of the host families would grow jealous of her getting minor attention from their parents and torment her.

Once when she was six, her host sister stuck gum in her hair because Eva had gotten the last slice of pie at the dinner table. Then tormented and hit her the whole year Eva stayed there.

At age seven Ava got pushed down a small hill and got her arm broken because the older boys thought she was a stupid imposing girl. The family became hurtful and cold with her because of the medical bills they had to pay for her.

And at age eleven is when her real troubles began. Her parents had been with her for a straight year when they suddenly dumped her off at her newest location. She was hurt and disillusioned because she had foolishly thought this time would be different.

She started noticing that this host family, with a woman and a man, was different than the rest. They were much more vile and much more physically abusing than the rest.

When the man started to show more interest in her and tried sexually assault her, she freaked out, fought back and ran away before any harm could befall her.

Over the years with the constant moves and unstable homes made her very insecure and very depressed. She began to believe she was not worthy of love. As the days got harder to and harder she started to turn on herself often calling herself dumb, worthless, ugly and putting herself down in the worst ways. For so long she couldn't even look at herself in the mirror without breaking down. She started to think that if others thought she should be punished then why shouldn't she punish herself. She then began cutting at the age of twelve.

During those times of fright and depression she would run into the wilderness and find the tallest tree and climb it. It often saved her many bruises and emotional scars. Up in the trees she found her sanctuary. The birds relatively left her alone until they began to trust her and often protected her. It was up there in the trees where she found love in it's purest form. The birds would care so deeply for their family and their young and soon the protected her as well, attacking kids when they were bullying her.

But just like in every social system the birds would often pick on the smallest loner birds.

When she was thirteen she walked into the woods and noticed a group of the bigger birds picking on a small rounder looking bird. She immediately scolded all of them and rushed to the aid of the poor bird.

She was taken aback at how odd looking the bird was and the fact that the bird talked to her. Ava had always talked to birds but she had never had one reply to her in plain English.

Aviemon was in such a small and broken condition when Ava found her. Ava saw the bird and saw herself, the fear and desolation in Aviemon was the same she felt. Ava felt a rush of love for the bird and had an epiphany. She realized that even though her childhood was horrid and she was a scarred and flawed girl , it didn't mean it was the end of the world and she was a worthless waste of space. Seeing Aviemon flipped a switch inside of her and turned her into a more nurturing and loving person. Caring for Aviemon gave her purpose and her depression ebbed away as Aviemon entered her life and for once she wasn't the helpless one she was the protector. That gave her strength to grow up and stand against her tormenters.

She slowly became the cheery and lively girl she is today, she loves and protects fiercely and loves to make knew friends and be there for them like she never was cared for.

Digimon Partner:
Aviemon is devoted to Eva 100%. After their initial meeting, Aviemon learned to trust and love Ava. Like Eva Aviemon was often cast out and picked on for being so timid. As time went on she learned much from Eva and is now very confident and analytical, often analyzing people before really letting them near her or Ava. She is more on the quiet side but has a witty sarcastic humor.
